What will it cost me ?

On the Pay per Minute Service, you will be charged 7c per participant per minute for national number use (anywhere in the world) and from 8c per minute for free phone (toll free) number use. (For a list of numbers, view the Toll Free number page.)

On the Pay Per Conference service, each Voice Conference is charged individually at €14 each.

On the All You Can Eat Service, each PIN is charged at €55 per month for use of Voice conferencing.

How will you bill me?

PPM and PPC services are billed at the end of the month. (your service term is per calendar month - you will be billed at the end of every calendar month).

AYCE starts on the day that you registered, and will be invoiced on the date of registration. (your service term is 30 days from the date you registered - you will be billed again 30 days later). If you upgrade to AYCE - you will be invoiced for any outstanding PPC or PPM conferences, and the AYCE option will start from the date of change.

Any TF use will be charged at the end of your term. If you downgrade from AYCE, it will occur at the end of your current term.

If you registered prior to 06/04/2009, charges will be made to your Credit Card in Euros at the current rate of exchange. If you registered after 06/04/2009, or have updated your card details after this date, charges are in the local currency stated on the website.

Do I need to book my conference call?

No, there is no need to book. You can hold a conference call whenever you like, 24x7x365

How many people can I have on my conference call?

You can have up to 30 participants on your conference call at any one time, but you will be charged accordingly. 1 Conference credit is allowed 10 participants, each further 10 participants will be charged as an additional conference.

From each of the following: Cyprus, Chile, Guatemala, Hungary, Japan and Pakistan, you can only have 1 participant from each entering your conference.

How long can my conference last?

There is no time limit to your conference, however, after 2 hours, you will be charged as if you have done a second conference.

Can I speak to an operator?

There is no operator on allconferencecalls services. Log into My Account to set your preferences and settings.

Can I record my conference calls?

Yes, Press #8 to start recording. You will be asked to confirm recording by pressing 1 on your handset, and you will then hear "recording started" announced. To finish and save recording Press #8 again (again you will be asked to confirm by pressing 1). To download your recordings, log into My Account and view the Recordings page.
Recordings are available for 1 month after the conference.

Is your service secure?

Yes, every participant entering the conference is announced, which means that you will know exactly who is on your conference call. You have the ability to lock the conference room and even do a head-count or roll-call of the participants. Log into My Account to see what preferences you can set up.

Can I use my PIN more than once?

Your PIN is registered to you, so you use your PIN every conference that you hold.

Can the service be used from abroad?

Yes, it can. View the International Page on this site for a full list of international numbers.

Do I need any special equipment?

No. You can use allconferencecalls from any touch-tone phone, be it land line, pay-phone, mobile or even Skype, in the same way as you would make any other phone call.

Can someone have the same PIN as mine?

No, each PIN is uniquely reserved for an individual customer.

What's the quality of the conference call like?

allconferencecalls offers a high-quality voice conferencing system - a service that's both clear and reliable. We have not sacrificed quality for cost!

What can I show?

You can show anything that you can open up on your desktop.

How many people can I show to?

You can show your desktop to 5 participants.

Do I need any programmes to run ShowTime?

No ShowTime doesn´t need any software installed but because it is an executable, you will need to make sure that firewall and anti-virus software is not blocking exe file downloads.

How secure is ShowTime?

You only show what is on your computer and all data is compressed before sent to you participants. We do not save your data so once you finish your show there is no trace of your session apart from what is on your computer.

How much does it cost to use ShowTime?

ShowTime is free to use

Do I need a particular specification of PC to run ShowTime web conferencing?

No, there is no minimum specification of PC required to run ShowTime. As long as you have a computer with Internet Explorer browser and a reliable connection to the Internet, you can use ShowTime web conferencing. The speed at which web conference page downloads operate will naturally vary, depending on what sort of Internet connection you have, so a network connection will be faster than a home modem connection, for example.

Can anyone use ShowTime?

Yes. You can use the ShowTime application at anytime.

Do I need a particular type of Internet browser to use ShowTime?

It is recommended that you use the latest version of the MS Internet Explorer (IE) browser available to you because IE integrates best with ShowTime, which is largely based on other Microsoft products. Any browser which supports Java Script will work but the rendering of the ShowTime site itself may not be as good as you would like if browsers other than Internet Explorer are used.

What currency is shown on your site?

Euro's is the currency shown across the site.

What is a Geographic number?

A Geographic number is a local number in a country. This means that your participants will be able to dial a local number and only be charged for a local call.

What is a toll free number?

A Toll free* number is a number which is free for the caller to dial. This means that your participants will not be charged for the call that they make to your conference. (*Calls to toll free numbers from mobile phones and some hotels may be charged by the telephone service provider - not allconferencecalls.)

Will I get charged VAT?

Via-Vox Ltd t/a allconferencecalls is registered for VAT in the UK. VAT will be charged as follows:

  • UK Customers - VAT will be charged at the standard rate.
  • EU Customers (other than the UK) - VAT will be charged at the standard UK rate unless you are registered for VAT (or equivalent such as TVA, BTW, MwSt) and enter your valid VAT number, in which case no charge will be made.
  • Countries outside the EU - No VAT charge will be made.

How can I improve the speed of my ShowTime session?

Disable any firewall applications you may be running. (This includes Windows Defender, which comes with Windows XP service pack 2 and Windows Vista) If you are running Windows Vista, disable the Aero theme, To disable Aero: a. Go to Control Panel>Personalisation>Window Colour and Appearance; b. In the new dialog, select the "Open classic appearance properties for more colour options" if available; c. In the colour scheme list, select "Windows Vista Basic"; d. Click Apply and OK. Make sure your attendees have as little running on their computer as possible
